Ruby Rossi-Grant was born and raised in San Francisco, California, where she grew up dancing for 14 years at studios including Dance Mission Theater, ODC Dance Company, and Alonzo King LINES Ballet. She trained in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, acro, and hip hop before moving to Los Angeles in 2019 to attend Occidental College, where she studied Education and Sociology. Ruby has been teaching dance since 2018 and has had the joy of working with dancers ranging from 1.5 years old through middle and high school ages. While she enjoys teaching a variety of styles and age groups, she especially loves teaching early childhood dance and creating a classroom environment where young dancers feel confident, creative, and excited to move. Her favorite styles to teach are jazz, acro, and pom, and she feels incredibly lucky to do work that allows her to combine creativity, mentorship, and movement every day.
