SESSION DATES: Wednesday, September 9th 2026 - Friday, June 4th 2027

STUDIO CLOSED: 

Thanksgiving: Mon, November 23rd - Sun, November 29th 2026

Winter: Mon, December 21st 2026 - Sun, January 3rd 2027

Spring: Mon, March 22nd - Sun, March 28th 2027

Memorial Day: Mon, May 31st 2027

SD West Recitals: Sat, June 5th 2027

RECITALS: Sunday, June 6th 2027 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre (Time TBD)

PRICING:

50-60 minute classes = $1,200 for the year ($400 per billing period)

30 minute classes = $765 for the year ($255 per billing period)

There will be three billing periods, Fall, Winter, & Spring.

ENROLLMENT DATES:

• Returning family pre-enrollment: Thursday, July 16th at 11am access only through the Parent Portal. (Only for returning Spring and current Summer dancers)
• Open enrollment for all families: Monday, August 3rd at 11am (Classes will be available below for enrollment) 

We do not issue refunds once you have registered your child for any classes, camps or events so please enroll carefully with that information.  We do NOT issue refunds even if the class has not started yet.  The offering of future credits for camp or class tuition is determined on a case by case basis and credits are not given if a child decides they no longer wish to pursue dancing.

If you are given a credit due to an extenuating circumstance, that credit will expire one year from the day it was issued, no exceptions.

We do not transfer tuition to our other locations so please be sure you enroll in the correct location.

We offer 10% off tuition for a sibling or additional classes.  Private lessons do not receive any multi class discounts.

We do not offer Make Up Classes during the Summer Session as you being given 9 weeks to take 7 classes.  Two missed or skipped classes are built in to your tuition!

Sophie Dance is proud to offer a military discount of 10% on all tuition and on all boutique items to any dancer with a parent who is active duty or retired.  This applies to direct parents only and parent must show ID to receive discount.

The health and safety of our students is always our priority.  If your dancer is showing any signs of illness, including but not limited to a fever of 99.6 or above, they are not permitted to attend their dance class or camp.  

Sophie Dance has two locations that operate as separate businesses with different partners and different schedules and availability. Sophie Dance 3rd Street and Level Up Dance Academy is in Mid-City and Sophie Dance West is in Brentwood. Please make sure you are signing up for the correct location before registering your child.  We are not able to accommodate transfers at this time if you sign up for the wrong location.

Sophie Dance and Level Up Dance Academy have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying and racism.  

We are an environment that holds space exclusively for inspiration, collaboration, kindness, compassion, tolerance, movement and art.  

Any incident occurring in the dance studio between clients that is perceived to be racist in nature or as defined below, an act of bullying, will be handled with a two-strike process.  

Strike 1 will result in a meeting with both parties to discuss the incident, ensure all sides and feelings are shared, heard and understood and a plan to move forward in tolerance and kindness together in class.  

Strike 2: If a second incident involving the same client takes place, the client will be un-enrolled in the dance program and all remaining monies will be returned to the client.  

When it is determined that a student, teacher, or staff member has committed a racist act, the person will be provided the opportunity to learn about the impact of their actions prior to the suspension or firing of a team player.   

Racism: defined as a system of structuring opportunity and assigning value based on the social interpretation of how one looks (which is what we call “race”), that unfairly disadvantages some individuals and communities, unfairly advantages other individuals and communities, and saps the strength of the whole society through the waste of human resources.  

Individual racism: pre-judgment, bias, or discrimination by an individual based on race. This includes both privately held beliefs, conscious and unconscious, and external behaviors and actions towards others  

Bullying: seek to harm, intimidate, or coerce (someone perceived as vulnerable)
