Peter was born and raised in Boston, and graduated from Ithaca College with a BFA in Musical Theatre. He then moved to New York City to pursue the acting business. After over a decade of performing all around the country and the world as a singer and actor Off-Broadway, Regionally, and on cruise ships, Peter discovered a passion for photography. 

Upon moving to Los Angeles as a headshot photographer and establishing Peter Carrier Photography in LA, he reconnected with his college friend Sophie who welcomed him into this amazing Sophie Dance family! Peter is thrilled to be working at the front desk as well as serving as the resident photographer at Sophie Dance 3rd Street.
